Safdarjung doctor testifies in 16 Dec gang rape case

A doctor from Safdarjung Hospital here, who had initially prepared the medical report of the male friend of the 16 December gang rape victim, on Monday recorded his statement in a fast-track court. Dr Sachin Bajaj, the Medical Officer in Safdarjung Hospital who had prepared the 28-year-old youth's medico-legal case (MLC), deposed in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Yogesh Khanna trying the case behind closed doors.
The report describes the wounds and injuries caused to the youth.
The doctor had also recorded the statement of the youth , a software engineer, after he was rushed to the hospital along with the 23-year-old victim who was in a critical state due to the injuries allegedly inflicted on her by six persons, one of whom is a juvenile.
