Sacrilege incident in Gurdaspur

Yet another alleged incident of sacrilege came to light in the Kalanaur area of Punjab on Monday. The state was recently rocked by a series of protests over such cases. An SIT has been formed under the supervision of SP Satpal Singh Bhangu to probe the incident, officials said. The incident came to the fore when two women Lakhwinder Kaur and Amarjit Kaur allegedly found torn pages of Sikh religious book (Gutka Sahib) on the Adalatpur road at 5:30 am.
