Russian Art Exhibition

The Embassy of the Russian Federation in association with the State Russian Museum (St. Petersburg), the Institute of Oriental Studies, Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow), the Russian Center for Science & Culture (New Delhi) with financial assistance from Sistema JSFC and MTS India present the art exhibition and the first English translation of Prince Alexei Saltykov’s travelogue titled “Letters from India”, supplemented with reproductions of his paintings from the Russian Museum in St. Petersburg.
An exhibition featuring 23 art works of Prince Alexey Saltykov was inaugurated at Russian Centre of Science and Culture, 24 Ferozshah Road, New Delhi by Dr. Karan Singh, MP, Rajya Sabha & President of Indian Council for Cultural Relations in presence of His Excellency, Alexander Kadakin, Honourable Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of India, HE Balmiki Prasad Singh, Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim and other dignitaries.
