RTI activist who faked his death married girlfriend six months ago in G Noida

Chandramohan Sharma, the RTI activist who had faked his own death revealed to police that he had married his girlfriend by producing fake documents.
The police investigation has revealed that Sharma and his girlfriend Preeti Nagar, had married at a temple in Greater Noida about six months before the fake death of activist.
The police have also found documents in which Sharma nad Nagar had posed themselves as residents of Delhi and their names were also changed. According to police, the duo had approached a temple where they got married under the rituals of Arya Samaj.
They not only misguided the temple authority but failed to produce proof of identity following which the authority denied marriage certificate to them. ‘We have been investigating the case and it has been found that Chandramohan and Nagar had procured fake documents. He even got job in Bengaluru by producing the fake documents,’ said a senior police official on Greater Noida.
It may be noted that police had found a charred body in Greater Noida on 1 May in the car of RTI activist Chandramohan Sharma. The family had claimed that body was of Sharma who was killed by land mafia.
But, four months later, police found Sharma alive and had arrested him from Bengaluru. Policec harged Sharma for allegedly killing an innocent person in his car. Nagar and Sharma’s brother-in-law, Videsh Kumar, were also made accused in the case.
