Declining for the sixth consecutive session, the rupee tumbled by 59 paise to nearly 2-year low at 64.78 against the US dollar on sustained demand for the American currency from banks and importers on the back of firm greenback overseas following yuan devaluation.
Sensex sinks by 384 points
Market continued to feel the risks from yuan devaluation as the benchmark BSE Sensex extended
its <g data-gr-id="54">loses</g> for the fourth straight session to fall by 384 points on Wednesday, while no positive developments on key <g data-gr-id="49">eform</g> bills added to the rout.
