Rs 19,649 cr budget for UP industrial authorities

Uttar Pradesh’s three industrial development authorities - Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway on Wednesday approved a budget of Rs 19,649 crore for 2014-15, allocating Rs 1,500 crore on Metro project in the region. In the board meeting held here, Rs 9,212 crore was approved for Noida, Rs 7,011 crore for Greater Noida and Rs 3,426 crore for Yamuna Expressway. The budget laid special emphasis on fund allocation for new infrastructure projects. ‘Extending metro connectivity further deep into Noida, and Greater Noida, improving connectivity between Noida and Delhi with new bridge to be build across Yamuna are some of the priority projects for this financial year,’ chairman of three authorities, Rama Raman, said, after the board meeting.
