RPF personnel awarded on Republic Day

President Pranab Mukherjee awarded President’s Police Medal for distinguished services and police medal for meritorious services to 19 Railway Protection Force (RPF)/Railway Protection Special (RPSF) officers and staff on the occasion of Republic Day.
The three officials who were awarded with President’s Police Medal for Distinguished service include NK Saxena (CSC/RPF/NCR), Lekhraj Sandhyana (IPF/RPSF) and Bachhe Singh, (SIPF/NR/MB), whereas the 16 personnel who were honoured with Indian Police Medal for Meritorious service include Aditya Awasthi (IPF/IRCTC), Sunil Kumar Gupta (IPF/NCR), DS Chauhan (IPF/NER), Satya Prakash Sharma (SIPF/RPSF/MLY), Shaikh Sabbir Ahmad (SIPF/CR), Tapas Kumar Chatterjee (SIPF/RPSF), Prem Chand Sharma (SIPF/SECR), M. Jayaraman (ASI/SR), Rajpal Meena (ASI/RB) among others.
