Robbers murder pregnant woman

A nine-month pregnant woman was found murdered while her husband was critically injured by robbers, on Thursday. The incident was reported to police around 5.30 am in Chhawla area of south-west Delhi.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Shama, and her husband as Latif. His brother Suresh informed the local police when he woke up in the morning to find Latif lying down on the floor with his hands and legs tied up, and tape on his mouth.
Shama and latif were taken to Rao Tula Ram hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival. Latif is critically injured and is undergoing treatment. ‘We are investigating the matter. The body has been sent for post-mortem,’ said police.
