Two brothers were shot dead in an incident of road rage in Bawana area of outer Delhi on Friday by armed assailants. The accused managed to run away from the spot. Meanwhile, locals demonstrated in the area after placing the bodies on the road, creating a traffic snarl for hours. A few DTC buses were also damaged by the crowd who clashed with the police.
The incident took place at around 10.30 am in Sultanpur Dabas area, when Sahab Singh (40) and Captaan Singh (35) travelling on their three-wheeler got into a tiff with occupants of a speeding Scorpio that came in their way.
Two of the accused whipped out their country-made pistols and opened fire at the brothers. Investigation is on and we have launched a search for the assailants,’ said RS Krishnia, Jt. Commissioner of Police (northern range).
