Road accidents kill 25 people in Egypt

At least 25 people were killed and 29 others injured on Sunday in two separate road accidents in Egypt.

In the first incident, 12 people were killed and 25 others injured when a bus overturned on a highway in the Red Sea city of Hurghada, around 500 kilometres southeast of Cairo, medical sources said. Soon after the accident, 10 ambulances were rushed to the spot which taken the victims to separate hospitals. 

The bus driver was taking hotel employees from Hurghada to Cairo and apparently lost control over the vehicle causing it to overturn, sources said.

The second incident reported from a desert road at Wadi Natrun town in Beheira governorate where 13 people were killed and four others injured.
