Rijiu meets 3 injured in Tawang firing

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has met three persons in two different hospitals of Guwahati, who were injured in police firing in Tawang district last week. At least two persons were killed and eight others injured last Monday, when policemen opened fire on anti-dam activists trying to barge into a police station demanding release of a monk at Tawang district of Arunachal Pradesh.
On Saturday, at Hayat Hospital, Rijiju met Wangpo Thutan from Bombay Village, Tawang while at Downtown Hospital he met Rinchin and Dondup Chonste of Pharmey and Sakyur villages respectively.
