Republican prez aspirants engage in personal attacks

The Republican presidential race has hit a new low with about half a dozen of its candidates, including frontrunner Donald Trump and Jeb Bush, locking horns and engaging in personal attacks.

In a latest debate last night, top presidential candidates including Donald Trump and the three others Ted Cruz, Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio tried to score points over others by hitting hard on their opponents.

“You are single biggest liar. You are probably worse than Jeb Bush,” Trump screamed at Cruz as the two entered into feisty exchange of words. This was followed by a nasty exchange between the two, with Cruz calling the New Yorker with the same name.

“This guy will say anything, nasty guy. Now I know why he doesn’t have one endorsement from any of his colleagues (in the Senate). He’s a nasty guy,” Trump said.

Cruz fought back in defense saying that Trump is also a liar.

“I will say, it is fairly remarkable to see Donald defending Ben after he called, “pathological,” and compared him to a child molester. Both of which were offensive and wrong,” Cruz said.

Trump was not the only person to describe Cruz as a liar.

Florida Senator Marco Rubio also used the same words against his colleague in the Senator from Texas.

“This is a disturbing pattern now, because for a number of weeks now, Ted Cruz has just been telling lies. He lied about Ben Carson in Iowa,” Rubio said.

When Cruz referred to a Rubio interview on immigration reform on a Spanish television, he said that the Texas Senator does not know Spanish.

“I don’t know how he knows what I said on Univision because he doesn’t speak Spanish,” Rubio said.

Meanwhile, Trump said: “The weakest person on this stage by far on illegal immigration is Jeb Bush. They come out of an act of love, whether you like it or not. He is so weak on illegal immigration it’s laughable, and everybody knows it”.

“This is the standard operating procedure, to disparage me,” Bush, former Florida governor said as he was interrupted by Trump.
