Remove illegal banners from residences: HC

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday asked the civic bodies to immediately remove illegal hoardings and banners put up on residential buildings in the Capital in violation of the outdoor advertising policy and the Delhi Prevention of Defacement of Property Act. A division bench of Justice BD Ahmed and Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva issued notice to the city government, police, East, South and North Delhi municipal corporations, the New Delhi Municipal Council and the Delhi Cantonment Board and asked them to file their responses on this.
