Reliance Jio’s H1 loss widens to Rs 12.48 crore

Reliance Jio Infocomm on Friday reported widening of its net loss to Rs 12.48 crore for the first six months period of current financial year ended June 30, 2015. The company had registered a net loss of Rs 7.68 crore in the same period a year ago. The revenue of Reliance Jio remained flat at Rs 2 lakh during period under review as it is yet to begin commercial operations. The company is expected to start commercial operations in December.

Reliance Jio holds the highest amount of liberalised spectrum among telecom operators which can be used for deploying any technology for mobile services.
