Rawat pacifies party’s disgruntled MLA

Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat proved his political astuteness again in a tight situations by calming his party’s discontented MLA Mayukh Mahar from Pithoragarh.

Sources informed that Rawat assured him in a telephonic conversation on Thursday evening that all his grievances regarding the pending projects of Pithoragarh town will be taken on top-most priority basis and concerned authorities will be directed to complete the pending work at the earliest.

Defending the MLA Rawat said, ‘If approved development work is still pending in his constituency, then his dissatisfaction is acceptable. I appreciate him for raising voice for development of his constituency. If legislature will not raise the issues of his constituency, then who will?’
