Ranbir takes on the media, comes to Deepika's rescue

Ranbir Kapoor came to the rescue of his Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani co-star and former lady love Deepika Padukone when a rather awkward question was posed to her regarding her ‘RK’ tattoo.
During the duo's earlier 2008 release Bachna Ae Haseeno, Deepika had got ‘RK’ inked on the nape of her neck. At that time, she was dating Ranbir.
Ranbir became upset when a reporter asked Deepika if she would be ready to sport another tattoo for the promotion of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
Ranbir said: ‘I don't think any actor in the film fraternity does things for promoting and marketing of a film. We also have a personal life. We do things for a film, but when we go home, we have a life, parents, family, friends. So you should respect that.’
He also shot back at the media representative, ‘You ask a question like this and if Deepika answers it, that would become an article for you. So it will be best that you also have a little dignity at a press conference like this and not bring up such questions.’
