‘Singh has become the first chief minister in the country to have established online communication with the citizens through this information technology-based application,’ an official release said on Friday.
The online public interaction programme saw applicants from various districts conveying their problems to Singh through the Google Hangouts application as he opened the platform at his official residence on Thursday.
The online audience will be in addition to his weekly ‘Jandarshan’ programme, during which he meets the public at his official residence to hear their grievances. That exercise will be conducted regularly on Thursday every week, the release added.
