Rajjo to clash with Ram Leela 15 Nov

Ram Leela, featuring actors Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, was to enjoy a solo release 15 November, but now Kangana Ranaut-starrer Rajjo will also hit the screens on the same date. 

‘I was waiting for an apt time to bring the film. Even though the main character Kangana (or Rajjo) plays a ‘mujrawali’ in the film, it isn’t sombre or depressing by any means,’ Rajjo director Vishwas Patil said in a statement.  

With Rajjo and Ram Leela releasing on the same date, the audience will not only get a chance to see two different genres at the box office, but they will also see two actresses- Kangana and Deepika playing title roles in their respective films. 

Kangana is very confident about her film and she is happy that the film is releasing during the festive season. ‘Rajjo is close to my heart and I am glad it is being released this season.
