Raje reshuffles top officers in Rajasthan

Soon after Vasundhara Raje took over as the chief minister, top officers including chief secretary and DGP were transferred in Rajasthan on Friday. State chief secretary CK Mathew has been transferred to Rajasthan state road transport corporation as CMD while DGP Harish Meena posted to Jail department as DG, officials said. Senior IPS officer Omendra Bharadwaj would be the new director general of Rajasthan police. DG-Jail Omendra was holding the charge of DGP, after Harish Meena went on voluntary leaves during election period, and now he will continue as the DGP. Additional CS-Rural development, C S Rajan, who was officiating chief secretary during the leave period of Mathew in the election period, has been shifted as ACS- Infrastructure (Rajasthan).
