Rahul Gandhi to visit DPCC office today

The Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) office has worn a deserted look for a long time. Party workers avoided coming to the DPCC office because of the inactivity of the DPCC president, Jai Prakash Aggrawal. But on the eve of the arrival of All India Congress Party vice-president Rahul Gandhi, there was a welcome buzz here.
As the Delhi government enters the last lap of its five-year term, the war between the DPCC president and the Chief Minister has worried the party high command.
The gravity of the situation and extent of Rahul’s effort to bring about a change in the situation can be gauged from the in the past three months, the Congress scion has held three interactions with Dikshit and the DPCC chief to come up with a winning strategy.
According to DPCC sources, during his visit, Rahul Gandhi will interact with all Delhi Congress MLAs, Districts and block-level Congress workers, including seven member of parliament. The DPCC chief and Chief minister Sheila Dikshit will also be present.
DPCC sources said that on Wednesday evening, Special Security Guard (SPG) inspected Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan, situated at Deen Dyal Upadhya Marg.
