Rahul evades ISI remark

While the Congress leader criticised the opposition for ignoring development issues, he did not make any reference to the controversy over his remarks on the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI being in touch with youths in riot-hit Muzaffarnagar.
At the rally, which coincided with Narendra Modi’s Hunkar rally in Patna, the Congress leader also said that Delhi Metro rail model is being adopted by several states and even by some foreign countries. The metro was made possible in Delhi by Sheila Dikshit government, Gandhi said. He said the UPA government has given a ‘shining and world-class’ airport to Delhiites.
Addressing the rally, Gandhi further alleged that the opposition was responsible for not getting the Women’s reservation bill passed in Parliament.
Continuing with his virulent attack, Rahul Gandhi that reservation for women in the legislative bodies like the state assemblies and Parliament was stalled by the
opposition.
