Radio taxi drivers meet CM Kejriwal

A delegation of drivers of the city’s radio taxis on Monday met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and discussed with him their demands including a ban on app-based taxi service. Rajwant Singh Saini, founder president of Azad Economy Radio Taxi Welfare Organisation, said that the CM has assured them that he would accept 75 per cent of their demands. He said that in the meeting, they demanded that government set up halt & go stands for economy radio taxis across the city. “We also demanded the government take a strict action against illegal call centres of app-based private taxis.
