PWD to make judicial quarters in Rohini, Dwarka

While development projects worth several hundreds of crores is still pending, Public Works Department is planning to construct 118 residential quarters for judicial officers in Rohini and Dwarka.

‘The judicial officers of different courts will get modernised government housing complexes within two years,’ said PWD secretary Arun Baroka. The department will construct multi-storey government accommodations. A sum of Rs 89.53 crores has been sanctioned for the same. Baroka said that PWD would construct 32 type IV and 16 type VI quarters for judges at Rohini Sector 26 which will cost Rs.
41.45 crores. The total covered area will be 1,6027 square meters with basement of 3,130 sqm.

Similarly, in Dwarka, the department will construct another 38 type IV and 32 type VI quarters for judges for Rs 48.8 crores.  ‘Servant room will be attached to all quarters and all blocks will have lifts,’ added Baroka.
