The Mangolpuri grade separator was constructed with a cost of Rs 38.00 crore in year 2009. ‘It is saving 9.5 lakh manhours a day, fuel worth Rs 23.5 lakh per year, it has reduced CO2 emission by 5,548 tonne per year,’ the official said.
Similarly the Mukarba Chowk grade separator, which was commissioned with a cost of Rs 195 crore in year 2009, is saving fuel worth Rs 1.6 crore a year, 66.5 lakh manhours and has reduced CO2 emission by 39,024 tonnes a year.
