Prohibitory orders relaxed

On Tuesday, prohibitory orders under Section 144 CrPC imposed on Trilokpuri was relaxed for three hours ranging from 2 pm to 5 pm. ‘This decision was taken after no fresh incidents of violence were witnessed despite the prohibitory order being relaxed for an hour on Monday,’ said Sanjay Beniwal, Joint Commissioner of Police (east). He further added that ‘If it turns out to be a success on Tuesday, we are planning to relax the prohibitory order for six hours – ranging from 11 am to 5 pm on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, even two mobile medical units were stationed in Trilokpuri which catered to the needs of hundreds of people, providing them with first aid and basic generic drugs like paracetamol.
