Prices of potatoes and onions stable in national capital: Goel

As per directions from Najeeb Jung, Delhi agricultural marketing board has started selling onions and potatoes at subsidized rates through 32 moblie vans in different parts of the city.
Delhi Development Commissioner Puneet Goel stated that the arrival of onions and potatoes in the national capital is more than its demand. Now, the prices of onions and potatoes are stable. ‘Depending on the quality of onions and potatoes, these are being sold at subsidized rates of Rs. 13 to Rs.15 per kg and Rs. 16 to Rs. 20 respectively across the city,’ said Goel.
Delhi agricultural marketing board has disbursed onions at Rs. 18 per kg. in northern parts of Delhi through 7 mobile vans and 15 others are carrying the vegetables at Rs. 13 – 15 per kg. and Rs. 14 – 16 per kg. respectively, in eastern parts of the city.
