Prabhat Jha appointed as Delhi BJP in-charge

Senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Prabhat Jha has been appointed as new Delhi BJP in-charge. He has replaced Nitin Gadkari.
Jha is a member of Rajya Sabha from Madhya Pradesh and vice president of BJP at the national level. ‘National BJP president Rajnath Singh has appointed him as organising in-charge of Delhi unit of the party,’ said a party spokesperson. Jha before being elevated to vice president was the BJP president for their Madhya Pradesh unit till December 2012 and is still holding that position. A journalist by profession, Jha is the editor of BJP’s mouth piece Kamal Sandesh.
