PowerGrid Director I S Jha gets addl charge as CMD

State-run transmission utility Power Grid Corporation of India Director (Project) I S Jha has been given additional charge as the Chairman and Managing Director for three months from Thursday. The government has approved “to assign the additional charge of the post of the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL) to I S Jha, Director (Project), PGCIL with effect from October 1, 2015 for a period of three months or till the appointment of regular CMD or until further orders, whichever occur earliest,” a source said.
