Powell to meet Mamata again

US ambassador to India, Nancy Powell, is expected to meet West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata on Thursday. Powell met BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi last week. Powell had a meeting with Banerjee for the first time in September 2012, after US secretary of state Hillary Clinton came calling in May at the Writers’ Buildings. Raj Bhawan sources said that the fresh meeting has been scheduled. British PM David Cameron also met Banerjee in November 2013 and invited her to visit London.
