Police seize fake Bajaj auto parts worth Rs 80 lakh

The Economic Offensive Wing (EOW) of Delhi police recently conducted a market raid in Karol Bagh and seized huge quantities of fake auto products worth about Rs 80 lakh being manufactured under <span style="border-bottom: 1px solid #0000FF !important;text-decoration:underline !important;color:#0000FF !important">the brand name of Bajaj Auto Parts from a manufacturing unit.
 
One person was arrested during the raid. The seized products include brake pads, clutch plates, ring, chains, wheels, among others.

Sonu Gupta, the owner of the unit, was apprehended by the police and a FIR was been lodged against him. The raid was conducted by Delhi police personnel and <span style="border-bottom: 1px solid #0000FF !important;text-decoration:underline !important;color:#0000FF !important">C3i Consultants, an investigation agency that specialises in anti-counterfeiting services.

C3i was founded in 2000 by <span style="border-bottom: 1px solid #0000FF !important;text-decoration:underline !important;color:#0000FF !important">KG Ramani and other professionals. It is a group of professionals from the armed forces, intelligence agencies, police and industry. C3i has branches at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kolkata and Pune.
