Police officer killed in deadly road mishap at Noida

According to police, Sanjay Bajpai (45), Station House Officer (SHO) posted at Kasna Police station in Greater Noida, was on his way to the national capital to meet his parents. Around 11:30 pm, as he was approaching towards NH 24, he could not see the divider due to the fog and his car rammed into it. As the speed was too high, he failed to maintain any control over the car that turned turtle several times.
Bajpai suffered multiple injuries and his head was completely crushed. He was immediately rushed to Kailash Hospital where he was declared dead. His body has been sent for postmortem examination.
Sanjay Bajpai was a resident of Kanpur district and had worked as SHO at various police stations in Noida and Greater Noida. He was transferred to Kasna Police Station from Sector 24 four months ago. He is survived by his wife and two children.
