Police dept has not harassed anybody: SP on DSP’s suicide

A senior police officer questioned by Crime Branch-CID probing the alleged suicide of a 27-year-old woman Deputy Superintendent of Police, on Monday rejected charges by her family and others that she had been harassed by superiors.
“I have nothing to say on the suicide of (DSP) Vishnu Priya. The police department has not harassed anybody in connection with the case as alleged by her family and others,” Superintendent of Police SR Senthilkumar said. He said special teams had been probing the case for some time.
