PM to visit Varanasi, launch power scheme

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Integrated Power Development Scheme aimed at ensuring 24x7 power for all, during his visit here tomorrow.

Modi is scheduled to arrive at the LBS International airport at Babatpur where Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and Governor Ram Naik would receive him.

From the airport, he will travel by helicopter and road to Banaras Hindu University (BHU), where he would inaugurate the newly built trauma centre. 

Later at the DLW ground here, he would launch the Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS), a flagship project of his govt which aims at strengthening sub transmission network in the city.
