PM Modi takes stock of development in U’khand

Prime Minister Narendra Modi through video-conferencing interacted with Uttarakhand chief secretary (CS) Rakesh Sharma regarding PRAGATI (<g data-gr-id="18">Pro-active</g> Governance and Timely Implementation) on Wednesday.

The PM interacted with the chief secretaries of all states on 17 issues. “Work on crime and criminal tracking network and system (CCTNS) is far better in Uttarakhand in comparison to other states. Excluding Uttarakhand, he curiously inquired Rajasthan and Bihar’s chief secretaries on this issue,” said Sharma.

Modi stressed on the issues of <g data-gr-id="21">cold</g> chain, CCTNS, progress on <g data-gr-id="22">mobile</g> tower, road construction and development of railway line. Sharma said around <g data-gr-id="20">4.7 hectare</g> land proposed for dumping yard would be available on lease by the end of September 31 for collecting debris from <g data-gr-id="19">construction</g> of pump storage plant at Chopda village.

The Prime Minister spoke to Chief Secretaries of all the states through video conferencing today under the Centre's Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation programme, an official release here said. The PM also asked the chief secretary to explore other utilities of the location where the dumping yard is to be developed, it said.
