Plans for Delhi-MP tourist circuit

Union Ministry of Tourism has taken up a plan to explore and develop a tourist circuit on Delhi-Agra-Madhya Pradesh route covering important destinations in the state. Foreign tourists visiting Taj Mahal in Agra via Delhi would be attracted to Madhya Pradesh’s historical cities – Gwalior, Orcha, Khujraho, Sanchi and Bhopal – for which a plan is in the offing, R K Mishra, assistant director of India Tourism, Ministry of Tourism, said on Wednesday. A marketing plan in the form of a book and publicity material were being prepared which would be launched soon, Mishra said. A seven-day plan would be prepared initially and promoted among  private tour operators, he said.
