Pia Zadora suffers head injury, hospitalised

Actress, singer and performer Pia Zadora has been hospitalised after she fell from a golf cart and suffered a head injury at her home in Laz Vegas a few days ago.

The 60-year-old entertainer suffered the injury Thursday night near her home in the Las Vegas community of Summerlin, reports eonline.com.

‘Pia is resting comfortably and has been moved out of trauma care, but still remains in ICU.
When she improves, she will have ankle surgery in Los Angeles in the next week or so,’ her representative said.

Zadora got her start in showbiz as a child actress in the Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof in the 1960s and won the Golden Globe in 1982 for New Star of the Year in a Motion Picture for the crime drama Butterfly.

The doctors have declared her to be out of danger but they wanted to keep her in for a few days more just to be sure of the situation before letting her go home.
