Physically challenged woman allegedly raped

In a shocking incident, a physically challenged woman has allegedly been gang raped by two persons in a moving bus in Greater Noida on Saturday night. Police said that the victim, a resident of Noida, met with an incident when she was on her way to the city from Dadri area and the bus staff committed gang-rape before dumping her in Dadri. 

On her complaint, police have registered a case and have put six police teams on task to identify both accused driver and conductor. Police have also sent the woman for medical examination.

According to the police, the incident took place late night when the woman had boarded in the bus from Dadri area. As she slept in the bus, both accused took her to Anand Vihar ISBT without dropping her in Noida. Speculating foul play, the woman asked them to drop her at Anand Vihar but they took the bus towards Noida assuring to drop her. As no passenger was in the bus, the driver and conductor raped her one after another. On opposing their act, they threatened to kill her and dump the body somewhere. Later they threw her near Kotwali gate in Dadri and the woman, somehow, informed her husband.

As she narrated her ordeal, family reached Dadri police station and a case was registered against two unidentified persons. 

“We have registered a case and are investigating the matter. We have formed six police teams and are scanning CCTV footages of the area also,” said a senior police official, investigating the matter.
