People whose hands are filled with clay and brain are packed with imagination, are the creators of beautiful art crafts using mud and earning their survival from the art they are master in. Potter’s colony of Uttam Nagar begins with the bulge of earthenwares kept outside the houses and workshops for the sale. This underdeveloped yet visionary area is alive since 1968 and got approval in 1979 from the former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi conversion took place from agricultural farms to the place of pottery.
