The Delhi government has fined two petrol pumps in the national capital for discrepancies in measurement of fuel and for not displaying their verification certificate, a statement said on Thursday. As part of a drive to check adulteration and malpractices in pumps across in Delhi, the department of food, supplies and consumer affairs conducted surprise checks on six petrol pumps of the city. Six petrol pumps at Majnu ki Tilla, Ghevra in north Delhi, Vikaspuri in west Delhi, Jasola, Dhansa in South Delhi and Mayur Vihar in East Delhi were inspected. The measurements, density of the fuel and other products were checked and samples were also taken, the statement said.
