PepperTap raises $10 million to fund expansion

Online grocery delivery services firm PepperTap on Wednesday said it has raised $10 million from venture capital funds SAIF Partners and Sequoia Capital for its expansion plans. At present, the ecommerce startup delivers groceries from its partner stores in Gurgaon, Delhi and Noida.
The funding will be used for building a highly-skilled team and for expanding the reach to up to 12 cities in India by the end of the year. Prior to this round, PepperTap had raised $2 million in early stage funding.
