Days after raising a banner of revolt, Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) president Ram Vilas Paswan’s son-in-law Anil Kumar Sadhu on Wednesday made peace with him and withdrew the remarks he made against the Union Minister and his son Chirag Paswan in a vicious attack on them after being denied a poll ticket.
Sadhu had even become emotional and broke down on TV after making a blistering attack on the father-son duo. He had also announced his decision to field Dalit Sena candidates in all districts in poll-bound Bihar to defeat NDA nominees. He announced his patch-up with his father-in-law and Chirag at a press conference in Patna. “I take back all comments made by me against Ram Vilas Paswan and Chirag Paswan in the past,” Sadhu said.
He added: “My complaint has been redressed after a talk with the two. Ram Vilas Paswan is our leader as well as <g data-gr-id="16">guardian</g>.” Asked if he was planning to contest from Raja Paker (reserved SC) seat in Vaishali, from where the party has already named Paswan’s younger brother Pashupati Kumar Paras, Sadhu said: “The party will decide the matter.”
Paras has been fighting elections from two seats Alauli and Raja Paker, both reserved seats.
