Paramilitary forces deployed outside JNU

The protests and counter protests inside and outside JNU led to the deployment of paramilitary forces on Tuesday. A company of Border Security Force was called in when locals from the neighbouring villages reached at the JNU gate demanding arrest of students accused of shouting anti-India slogans. As the students and teachers of JNU had left for joining a protest organised to press their demands for ‘Justice to Rohith Vemula’, the campus witnessed a deserted look till late in the evening.
