Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif ‘escapes attack’

Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family had a scare on Sunday after a suspicious car approached the convoy in which they were traveling, according to reports. Pakistani media reported that the car attempted to overtake Sharif’s convoy. Sharif was traveling towards Islamabad with some members of his family when the incident <g data-gr-id="8">occured</g>. The car was forced off the road and the driver was been taken into custody. Interrogation by security agencies revealed that the driver of the car was a retired Commodore of the Pakistan Navy.
