Pak tourist missing from hotel, co-tourists clueless

A 43-year-old Pakistani national staying at a hotel in Nabi Karim in Central Delhi has been reportedly missing for the past 14 days. Identified as Mohammed Salim, senior police officials of the Central district said that the Pakistani national came to India with 140 other persons on a tour.

Police said that Mohammed Salim came to India with 140 persons from Pakistan to tour the country. They reached Delhi on July 22 and were putting up at a hotel in Central Delhi’s Nabi Karim area. They were supposed to leave on the 27th but Salim went missing a day before their departure.

According to the police, on the morning of July 26, when Salim’s friend came into his hotel room, he found that the room was empty and could not even find his belongings. He asked his other friends about Salim but no one had any knowledge about him. Police further said that after searching for a long time, Salim’s friend went to the reception of the hotel and informed the staff about his missing friend. The hotel staff also searched for Salim but in vain.
