OZ woman charged with murder of Indian boYfriend

An Australian woman was on Wednesday charged by a Queensland court for killing her 37-year-old Indian partner by pumping 10 bullets in his head last month.
Gold Coast-based businessman Shyam ‘Sam’ Dhody was allegedly shot dead by 27-year-old Melissa Lee Shaw in July this year.
Shaw was arrested yesterday and remanded to custody, ‘The Brisbane Times’ reported. Her next court appearance is on 5 November.
Police claim Dhody was shot 10 times in the head by a .22 calibre weapon.
Police believe Shaw was the unhappy with the relationship with Dhody and was in a simultaneous ‘intimate relationship’ with 32-year-old Adam James Gooley, the report said. Meanwhile, Shaw’sdefence Jason Jacobson suggested that the case against his client was weak. My client still has faith that the charges against her will be discontinued just as soon as the court has an opportunity to examine the evidence in this case,’ he said. During the investigation, police seized a purple 2004 Ford Falcon and raided prope ties in northern New South Wales and at Bribie Island, north of Brisbane.
Dhody was declared bankrupt two years ago, and the Australian Securities and Investment Commission began proceedings this year to have his company, Roadside Group International, struck off. Investigations revealed that Shaw had previously asked Gooley to kill Dhody. Gooley allegedly bashed Dhody with a crowbar in March and told him ‘I will finish the job, I’m going to kill you’, the report said.
