Association and Cinedarbaar is organizing The Oscar Fever from 28 February - 1 March , screening five selected movies nominated for the Oscars 2014 at the American Center Auditorium.
The Oscars, one of the prestigious movie awards give honour to exemplary works in the movie industry. As part of the celebratory event, American Center is showcasing 2013 movies which are nominated for the Oscars this time. The festival will open with Saving Mr. Banks and Gravity on 28 February at 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm respectively. The last day will witness three movies Frozen, The Croods and Captain Phillips at 1:00 pm, 3:30 pm and 6:00 pm in chronological order.
Saving Mr. Banks and Captain Phillips are biography dramas whereas Frozen and The Croods are animated adventure comedies. Also in store is an entertaining Sci-Fi drama thriller Gravity. It will be an enriching experience for all the movie lovers to watch the Oscar nominated movies during the time when the much awaited results will be announced.
Watch all the movies this weekend and become the best judge to select your favourite in various categories. These five movies will not only be a source of fun and entertainment but also serve as a medium of knowledge and information to the masses.
The entry to the festival is free and is on first come first serve basis. Please carry a valid photo ID to enter the American Center.
