Ongoing Psychology symposium to conclude tomorrow

In an applaud move, Department of Psychology, Bhim Rao Ambedkar College of Delhi University organised a symposium in Psychology from 15 to 24 January, to study the engraved psychic and idiosyncratic problems along with socio-psychological problems related to Delhi rape case and come out with recommendation to overcome such problems in future. Symposium was inaugurated by N K Chadda, head of the department of Psychology, Delhi University. While lecture, Anand prakash, Dean international of Delhi university highlighted the growing need for qualified counselors not only in schools and colleges but also in the corporate and government institutions and highlighted the need for training teachers in school who act as change agents at fundamental levels about the methods to enhance happiness index of the school children. This programme was chaired by G K Arora Principal of this College who appreciated the role of youth as catalyst for future change.
