One of two Indians abducted in Libya flees from captivity

One of the two Indians, who were abducted in Sirte in war-devastated <g data-gr-id="12">Libya,</g> has managed to flee from captivity. Sources said <g data-gr-id="10">Pravash</g> Ranjan Samal, hailing from Odisha, escaped from the captors and conveyed to one of his friends that he was fine. Samal and Ramamurthy Kosanam, a resident of Andhra Pradesh, were abducted from Ibn-e-Sina in Sirte where they were working.
The sources said efforts are on to secure Kosanam's release. In July, four Indian teachers were kidnapped in Libya allegedly by the Islamic terrorists and release of two of was secured by the government.
