On May 19, Sunny approached Biju along with Saurav, Satish and Babu — the three other accused in the case.

On interrogating Sunny, he also confessed that while his friends caught Biju, he punched him and kicked him. On finding him still alive, Sunny banged his helmet on Biju’s head following which the latter slumped to the ground.
