One dead in e-way accident, another critical

A 20-year-old youth was crushed to death while another got critically injured in a road accident on Noida-Greater Noida Expressway on Thursday night. The police said that the victims met with the accident when both the truck driver and helper were busy in changing tyres of the truck and a speeding dumper hit them from behind. The victims were admitted at district hospital in Noida where one succumbed to his injuries and condition of another was stated to be critical.
According to the police, the incident took place at around 12:30 am near Sector-132 when truck driver Shiva and his sub-ordinate were changing tyres of the truck on Noida-Greater Noida side. In the meantime, a speeding dumper approached the truck and hit it from behind. The errant driver could not spot the truck due to fog. The victims, who were busy in changing tyres, failed to spot the dumper and met with the accident.
